Jewish Adolescent Behavioral Health Initiative

Across New Jersey—and the nation—adolescents are facing growing mental health challenges. Recognizing both the urgency and the opportunity to act, HFNJ launched a targeted initiative to strengthen mental health support systems for Jewish adolescents in the NJ Greater MetroWest community.

Doula care is proven to promote healthy pregnancies, safe births, and positive experiences for mothers and families. That is why HFNJ supported a project by Visiting Nurse Association of Central NJ to create the Essex County Community Doula Initiative.

Trinitas

Thanks to a transformational $1 million grant from HFNJ, Trinitas Regional Medical Center constructed the HFNJ Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities to help meet the specialized need for mental health crisis care for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
